How many times, upon returning from a holiday, have you felt the desire to take a map of the world and put a mark on the country you just visited? How many times would you have liked a giant geographical map to appear under the Christmas tree where you could take into account upcoming trips and adventures?
Personally, I had been looking for a map of the world for a very long time, having to be able to put anPeru and Jordan) as well as on the states on the "wish list" for 2020. I had heard about scratch-off world maps, but many had given them a negative opinion and I honestly had no intention of finding myself, in a few months, with a piece of paper ruined and to be thrown away. So when I learned that theMiMi Innovationshad created wooden world maps to put on the walls of the house as pieces of furniture and design, I immediately thought they were right for me!
A MAP OF THE WORLD WHERE YOU CAN MARK THE COUNTRIES VISITED
Being the super traveler that I am, I decided to take two of the wooden world maps proposed by MiMi Innovations and stick them on two separate walls at home.
The company offers solutions for all types of furnishings but, above all, for all types of budgets. In fact, we start from the cheapest world maps (only 49.95 euros) to the most exclusive ones made with veneer (199.95 euros). The colors are different (walnut, sapele, black, white, brown) as are the sizes, suitable for every type of need.

To be able to compare them, I decided to take both the exclusive 130×78 one (Exclusive Edition World Map) and the cheaper 130×78 (Luxury Wooden World Map). Both are made with ecological and FSC certified wood but they differ in the veneer which, in the Exclusive edition, is present and makes the pieces more solid, shiny and detailed.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE MIMI INNOVATIONS WORLD MAP
World map montage is indeedvery simple and intuitive. You can choose to stick the map on a panel or directly on the wall. Inside the package you will find the9 tiles (put in order) which include the parts of the continents to be arranged, the wooden risers which act as a link between the map and the wall, the glue, a white tape which is used to regulate the distances during the assembly phase,96 country markersin black, red and white, a country marker holder to place under the map and 25 small islands.
As you assemble all the pieces you will realize how detailed the map is, especially on the small islands, and how big our world really is!
