SKANSEN MUSEUM IN STOCKHOLM: INFORMATION

Walking through the alleys, picturesque and full of greenery, you will have the impression of having gone back in time. Like field mushrooms, you will see theover 150 houses e fattorie provenienti da tutta la Svezia, smontate dai loro luoghi di origine e qui rimontate per divenire “pezzi” di museo. Aguzzate gli occhi perché, all’interno delle abitazioni, troverete personaggi in abiti d’epoca svolgere dimostrazioni sugli antichi mestieri!

WHAT TO SEE AT THE SKANSEN MUSEUM IN STOCKHOLM

Potreste passare giornate intere all’interno dello Skansen, senza mai annoiarvi.

CURIOSITY

The best time to immerse yourself in Stockholm's Skansen is certainly the summer, when temperatures are mild and, every evening, a show of Swedish folk dances is scheduled. In this open-air museum, according to tradition, all the main anniversaries of the year are celebrated, such as Walpurgis night, Santa Lucia, Christmas and thesummer solstice. The latter is one of the Skansen's flagships! It is the highlight of the Swedish summer and is celebrated with joy with song, dance and music.

Be careful as the metro and city buses are not included anyway.
